Windows 10 login screen missing2/26/2023 ![]() ![]() If on your Windows 11 PC, the required “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” checkbox is missing, then this gearupwindows article will help you overcome this problem. ![]() ![]() Finally, I was able to fix my problem on my PC. I decided to go with Windows 10 methods to fix the missing checkbox, and luckily Microsoft has not changed this option registry path on Windows 11. Fortunately or unfortunately, I had similar issues while I was using Windows 10. Then I decided to fix it first before settings up automatic login for my user account. The checkbox was missing, and I could not set up automatic login using this simple method. I tried both commands, “control userpasswords2” and “netplwiz,” to access User Accounts unfortunately, no change. To do that, when I opened User Accounts to do that, surprisingly checkbox “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” was missing on our Windows 11 PC. Since I am a single user for my PC, we decided to set up automatic login on our Windows 11. ![]()
